Cobblers Down and Bottom

This was my first visit to Field Mill, for some reason I've always managed to miss this trip. From seeing pictures and hearing tales, I understand that this was a ramshakle ground a few years ago, but much has changed.

Three new stands have been built to give a 10000 all seater stadium with good views for all. Away fans were housed in the Quarry Lane end, which holds just under 2000. To the left is a two tier South Stand and behind the goal at the opposite end is a replica stand to the Quarry Lane end. To the right of the away fans is the only undeveloped part of the ground is the Bishop Street stand, which only covers a small part of the pitch and seems to house the press.

Cost
£14 is quite reasonable for the division

Programme
£2 for a shiny programme with plenty to read

Parking
We parked in the official car park behind the West Stand, costing £2. It was easy to get out of but there was a wait on the main road.

Atmosphere
It was a real end of season nothing to play for game but both sets of supporters were in high spirits despite relegation.
