The Chronicle & Echo reported this week that the multi-millionaire wants to be in charge of the club within a month. This news will come out of the blue for many Cobblers fans who beleived the deal had passed by.

Still Interested? - John Fashanu

NTFConline asks - has this re-emerged due to the club staying in Division Two? Previous reports had suggested that the Winners WordWide consortium were only interested in buying a Division Two side.

The report also suggested that Fashanu was happy with the current manager and that Kevan Broadhurst would remain in charge of team affairs following a sucessful takeover. Apparantly there is still one other party still interested in bidding for ownership of the club.
