Neal Ardley's side played for 55 minutes with 10 men after the sending off of Karleigh Osborne and the Wimbledon manager was pleased with the level of commitment to the cause that his players produced until two late goals sealed the points for the Hatters.

Speaking to the official AFC Wimbledon website after the game, Ardley said: "I have had a look at the stats and we had more possession and exactly the same amount of attempts at goal."

The Cobblers clash will be the 5th home league game of the season for the Dons with 2 wins and 2 defeats to date.

Bayo Akinfenwa leads the way in their goalscoring chart with 3 to his name so far this season.
