Around League Two

Notts County have reiterated their desire to reach the Premier League despite a season of turmoil off the pitch and their hunt for a new investor.

"When I and a lot of people signed we strongly believed that everything which was said was true, and obviously it wasn't," director of football Sven Goran Eriksson told the BBC.

"I still believe it is possible [to reach the Premier League] but what we need is money. It's not easy from where we are."

Northampton went down 5-2 to the Magpies in September and face them in the return fixture at Sixfields in April.

On the transfer front, striker Anthony Elding's contract at Crewe has been terminated by mutual consent. He had recently been loaned out to Kettering.

Tottenham keeper Dave Button meanwhile will remain on loan at Shrewsbury for at least another month.
