Can York City upset the odds at Sixfields?

The Cobblers return to action after a weekend off which saw them retain their position at the head of the League Two table when Plymouth Argyle were beaten by Wycombe Wanderers at Home Park.

They are strong favourites to maintain that lofty perch by taking three points from bottom side York City but the Minstermen will travel in better spirits after a vital victory against Stevenage which saw move level on points with Dagenham & Redbridge.

Manager Jackie McNamara had rolled the dice in the transfer market prior to that, signing experienced striker Derek Riordan after a two-week trial and also adding Newcastle United defender Lubo Satka on loan.

Northampton are set to have new faces of their own on show, manager Chris Wilder having strengthened his title-chasing squad with the additions of Luke Prosser and Danny Rose in recent weeks.
