Saturday's title-clinching point at Exeter City came just a few short months after the very existence of the Cobblers looked to be in doubt and Barry Glendenning looks back at the role Wilder played in helping sort the off-field problems.

He writes: 'Northampton’s supporters have every right to be proud of their players but it is almost certainly their manager who deserves most plaudits for the November rallying cry that galvanised and united those with the best interests of the club at heart.'
