Cobblers Boosted By Trio's Return

Northampton Town boss Colin Calderwood has been handed a boost with the news that Smith, Rowson, and Pedj Bojic (who missed last weekend's win over Bristol Rovers with a hamstring injury) all played 65 minutes in the specially
arranged friendly game.

Cobblers lost the match 1-0, but the main plus for Calderwood was the return o the trio from injury.

"They all came through 65 minutes with no obvious ill effects," said
the Cobblers boss.

"All 3 players are physically very fit after their rehab work, but of course
in the case of David and Martin they are just short of games and match
practice. At this stage it looks like all 3 could be in contention for a
place in the squad this weekend, although we won't take risks with any of
them.

"If we can we want to take those players with us to Yeovil and if they are
included in the squad then that will be a boost for us all."
