Speaking to the official Northampton Town website Gary Johnson was in upbeat mood after improved displays against Southend and Torquay, feeling that his side are 'not a million miles away' from where he wants them to be.
Having garnered some decent results on the road already this season Johnson is keen for another positive display against a team he believes will be well motivated and full of the Wimbledon 'spirit'.
Defender Byron Webster will miss out after suffering a broken metatarsal against Torquay which is set to rule him out for up to six weeks.
