Cobblers Confident for Oldham Visit

Town will be without John Frain and Paul Trollope for tomorrows key clash with forth placed Oldham.  Trollope has a sprained ankle and limped off on Tuesday night against Notts County.  Frain is missing due to a family bereavement.

Town were narrowly beaten in the fixture last season, going down to a late goal, despite dominating with ten men.  Keith Welch was sent off just before half time for hand ball.
Jamie Forrester scored in the last Cobblers victory against Oldham in October 2000

Town's last sucess against the Latics was in October 2000.  Jamie Forrester scored the first and Gary Hughes netted his only Cobblers goal in a 2-1 victory.

Free tickets for seasons tickets holders' friends have been given out again, so a large crowd will be cheering the Cobblers on and hoping for a much needed three points.  The Latics sit cemented in the play off places and have only lost one away game all season, at Bristol City a few weeks ago.

Ex Cobblers favourite Carlo Corrazin will probably feature on the bench.
