The fixture originally scheduled for Saturday 8 October has been brought forward to Friday 7 October, 7.45 p.m. kick off. This is to avoid a clash with England's World Cup qualifier with Austria being played at Old Trafford on the Saturday.

The cub have also confirmed the Carling Cup 1st round tie against QPR will be played on Tuesday 23 August, 7.45 p.m. kick off.
