The romance of the F A Cup, which this year includes all three Northants teams, Northampton, Kettering & Rushden & Diamonds as well as Bedford Town, making an appearance in the first round.
The Cobblers have been boosted by the return of Jamie Forrester, recovering from a back strain. He and his fellow team mates will make a sentimental return to Plainmoor, where the Cobblers clinched promotion on their last visit.
Forrester will most likely partner Marco Gabbiadini up front as the Cobblers look to turn their season around. Manager Kevan Broadhurst has put the players through extra training this week ahead of the Torquay clash and is confident of a result to take the Cobblers into the second round draw.
