The draw is a huge reward for Ian Sampson and his men after their penalty shoot-out heroics against Reading this week.
Northampton have not played at the world famous home of the Reds since a 5-0 defeat in the old first division back in November 1965.
The third round ties will be played in the week commencing 20 September.
