It is reported that initial discussions of a £600,000 bid had been table by Mr Di Stefano, but the final offer was a mere £50,000.
Rumour now has it that the club will be approaching supporters and local businesses to make up the shortfall of around £500,000, which is needed to cover the collapse of ITV Digital.
