Derek Asamoah likely to come on as substitute takes on County's Marcel Cas
Northampton Town are likely to field an unchanged starting lineup from the one that toppled title chasing Brentford. For the Cobblers that means six changes though to side that faced Notts County at Sixfields on the 3rd game of the season.

Currently only 2 Cobblers players are unavailable for contention, John Frain and Chris Carruthers. Both players are on the road to recovery but are still not match fit. Meanwhile Richard Hope and Chris Marsh return to the squad but are unlikely to start the game.

Reason for changes to lineup V Notts County in August at Sixfields

Sollitt - Stand in for the injured Keith Welch.

Dempsey - Played in a makeshift defence but has since lost his place.

Evatt - Returned to Derby County because of no guarantee of a place in squad.

Hope - Unlikely to play after just returning from injury.

Frain - Still injured and unlikely to return in the near future.

Asamoa - Towns super sub is unlikely to start until Gabbiadini starts his ban.

McGregor, Parkin, Gabbiadini, Spedding and Hargreaves look to be the only players who started in both games.

Marcel Cas takes on Paul McGregor and John Frain
Notts County will be without Marcel Cas and Paul Riley for the relegation battle with Cas suffering from a calf strain and Riley just returning from injury. New County boss Billy Deardon will be boosted by the return of Richard Liburd who featured in the 3-0 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers.
