FA Cup Countdown: Will Sky Blues Make Changes?

Last updated : 02 November 2015 By County Ground

The eagerly awaited game will give the large travelling Cobblers support the chance to forget the recent off-field issues surrounding NTFC and hopefully roar their team to an upset victory.

That will be tough against a side currently riding high in League One and capable of calling on players such as Joe Cole with the former England international on loan at Coventry from Aston Villa and having been given permission to play in the FA Cup at the time of his move.

Leading goalscorer Adam Armstrong is unlikely to feature under the terms of his loan from Newcastle United and manager Tony Mowbray is keen to give the 18-year-old a break in any case after a hectic schedule playing for the Sky Blues and England Under-19's.

Mowbray still has experienced strikers to call on in Marcus Tudgay and Marc Antoine-Fortune who will provide a stern test for the Town defence.
