Former England international and multimillionaire, John Fashanu has been talking to Cobblers Chief Executive Gary Hodder about a possible takeover

Fashanu, who two years ago was faced with match fixing allegations with Bruce Grobbelar and Hans Segars has met with Hodder to discuss future ownership.
He has been linked to other clubs in the past without actually making any formal offers. Hodder also reported that other interested parties had approached the club but again no formal offers have been received as yet.
The Town backroom staff are keen to sort out a positive deal as soon as possible with 10 current first team players cotract expiring at the end of the season.
On the pitch, The Cobblers need to start picking up point to move away from the bottom of Divison Two, boss Kevan Broadhurst insists that there is no need to panic as yet and the players are confident of a good run up to Christmas.
