Frustration at lack of new signings

Town have only brought in Liam Davis from Coventry City and Abdul Osman from Gretna and Gray is frustrated at the lack of further transfer action.

"We are trying desperately hard, and the chairman is trying desperately hard to bring players in," said the Cobblers boss.

"It has been difficult trying to contact managers who have been away on holiday and they are trying to do deals themselves as well.

"So unfortunately we are having to wait for other deals to be done to enable us to bring other players to the football club."
