Northampton Town defender Chris Doig was honoured at the Football League's annual Awards ceremony in London on Sunday night.

Doig was awarded the Good Sport Award - sponsored by Wash and Go, for his actions in the abandoned game against Millwall on December 30.

The particular incident saw Doig sprint over with a stretcher to assist the medical teams who were treating Millwall's Danny Senda after the Lions player was lying injured following an accidental challenge with Pedj Bojic.
