Gray delighted with win over Millwall

"It was a very rewarding night. The back three and Mark Bunn were outstanding and deserved their clean sheet. Against Carlisle the forwards won us the game but this was a very good team performance. We dominated the first half but lacked an end product in the final third. We continued our domination after the break but we both created and converted our chances.

"We said to the players at half time to keep their concentration because we did not want to be caught by a sucker punch having dominated so much of the play. We said just be calm when we get the ball in the final third and Scott McGleish helped by giving us a great start to the second half, and then Andy Holt ran 60 yards to score the second and we all know that Bradley Johnson deserved his goal. He created space and hit it with power and it was great to see it go in"

Northampton's win sees the club move to 15th in the table. Just below the halfway mark.
