The on loan striker from Preston scored his 2nd goal in a Cobbler's shirt when he turned in Luke Gutteridge's pass.

It was the greatest of games but boss Stuart Gray was happy to win ugly.

"We rode our luck and I can't believe we didn't concede. We've got the three points but we didn't have the performance to go with it," said the Boss.

"We've won ugly, sometimes extremely ugly, but things tend to balance themselves out over the season.

"We kept giving stupid free-kicks away, giving the referee easy decisions and putting pressure on ourselves. But it's good to get back-to-back wins, our home form has been good but I want the players to make Sixfields a fortress."
