Improved Away Form Gives Town a Fighting Chance

Last season's away form was the source of much frustration for Aidy Boothroyd and those troubles continued into the start of the 2013/14 campaign.

Since the beginning of January, however, the Cobblers have played nine games away from home, winning four and drawing four with their only defeat coming at the hands of Fleetwood in the middle of February.

That haul of sixteen points from a possible twenty seven has given Chris Wilder and his team a fighting chance of avoiding relegation and victory in their final away game at Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday will put safety into their own hands as relegation rivals Wycombe Wanderers and Bristol Rovers meet at Adams Park.
