Injury woe for Cobblers

Northampton have been hit with an injury crisis ahead of their trip to Aldershot. Striker Tadhg Purcell will miss the rest of the season after he damaged his knee ligaments in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Wycombe while midfielder Ryan Gilligan is set for three months on the sidelines as he undergoes ankle surgery. Veteran left-back Marcus Hall will also be out for around a month after he pulled his hamstring in the 4-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Hartlepool in midweek.

John Johnson is expected to return from a groin injury and he will play at right-back, with Paul Rodgers moving across to fill Hall's vacancy on the left. Goalkeeper Chris Dunn made his comeback from an ankle injury against Hartlepool and will start so on-loan Spurs youngster Oscar Jansson will be on the bench for the final game of his spell. Defender Craig Hinton is still missing with knee trouble.
