With two tough away games on the horizon, the strike duo will both miss out after joining the likes of Lewis Hornby, Matt Heath, Kelvin Langmead and Alex Nicholls on the injury list.
"The plan now is to have a little look at who is out there but we’ve also got to make sure that we get the best out of the players who we’ve got available," Boothroyd told the official NTFC website.
"There are players out there but they’ve got to want to come and there club has got to want them to come."
AFC Wimbledon are Town's next opponents and Neal Ardley wants his team to bounce back straight away from their late defeat at Cheltenham.
"It is now a case of the staff and I picking them up off the floor and us bouncing back, something we have done so far this season.
"We need to come back from this and produce good performances and pick up points."
