Chris Wilder saw his side well beaten by former club Oxford United in midweek, telling the official club website after the game: "We need to get ourselves through this period quickly and hopefully the next result is the one that gets us going again."

He also felt there was 'not too much' in the game and that his players are not too far away from turnng things around.

Luton manager John Still also faced his former club during the week but had a happier reunion, the Hatters beating Dagenham & Redbridge 3-1 to move into the top three in their first season back in the Football League and make it six consecutive victories.
