Northampton Defeat Spells End For Yeovil Boss

Saturday's 2-0 defeat at the hands of Northampton Town meant that Yeovil have gone 12 league matches without a win as they battle to avoid a third successive relegation.

Former Cobblers manager Gary Johnson, a legendary figure at Huish Park, has ruled himself out of the running for the job as he keeps his focus on getting Cheltenham Town back into the Football League.

"The club needs investment, ambition and personality," Johnson told BBC Somerset.

"Everyone needs to look at themselves and ask if they are doing enough to keep the club being competitive. The club does not deserve to be where it was 12 years ago."
