The Cobblers have been handed an away tie with Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena over the weekend of November 6,7 or 8.
Northampton were the Sky Blues landlords in 2013 and 2014 after Coventry were in dispute with the owners of the Ricoh Arena.
The game represents a good chance for Town, currently riding high in League Two, to test their mettle against a Coventry side doing the same a division higher.
A large travelling support will make the short journey for the game and should ensure an excellent atmosphere.
