Northampton Town 0 - 1 Q.P.R.

Last updated : 24 July 2008 By Dave Foster
Triallist Kevin Watson started the game but Town were without Chris Doig and Adebayo Akinfenwa through slight knocks.

The winning goal came in the 25th minute from a Blackstock header.

A decent crowd over over 2,500 turned out to watch the match.

Stuart Gray said afterwards

"I enjoyed the second half performance against Q.P.R. I thought we were at it and more like us. In the first half we showed them too much respect and did not work hard enough. After half-time we made a better game of it and we were more like our old selves."

"I felt we deserved a goal in the second half but although we created a couple of good chances we couldn't quite take one of them."
