Ryan Gilligan has recovered from a hamstring injury and striker Adebayo Akinfenwa is fit after a thigh problem.
Scott Rendell will partner Craig Mackail-Smith up front for Peterborough in the absence of Aaron Mclean who dislocated his elbow last week.
Loan signing Gabriel Zakuani will start while Craig Morgan will be assessed after playing for Wales in midweek.
Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:
"I've got a feeling they'll play a certain way which we've worked on today.
"As a player these are the games you want to play in and as a manager these are the games you want to manage in.
"This level of pressure in big matches is why we enjoyed getting out of League Two so much, to play in games like this."
