Northampton V Rochdale at Sixfields Stadium - Match Preview

Northampton manager Chris Wilder could hand a full debut to Huddersfield loanee Cristian Lopez when his side face Rochdale.

The former Real Madrid B forward joined the Cobblers on Friday and came off the bench for the last couple of minutes of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Mansfield.

Defender Joe Widdowson has missed the last five games with an ankle problem and is a doubt once more, while captain Lee Collins (foot) is out for the rest of the season.

Wilder's resurgent side are unbeaten in six matches and victory over the Dale could move them level on points with 20th-placed Wycombe.

Rochdale will once again be without defender Olly Lancashire. The 25-year-old serves the final game of the two-match ban he received for picking up his second red card of the season in the 2-1 defeat to Torquay.

Manager Keith Hill will hand a fitness test to top goalscorer Scott Hogan, who has missed the last two games with a knee injury. Midfielder Matty Lund scored twice on his return from injury last time out and is expected to keep his place in the starting XI.
