Championship side Derby County will visit Sixfields for a pre-season friendly, on Saturday July 18th with a 2pm kick off.

The fixture is a step up in pre-season preparation for the Cobblers, who play two public friendlies during their South Coast training camp, starting at Worthing FC on Tuesday July 7 at 7:30pm and continuing at Burgess Hill Town on Saturday July 11 at 3pm.

Known as ‘The Rebels’ and currently of the Ryman League Division One South, where they finished just outside the play-offs last season, Worthing play their home games at Woodside Road.

Burgess Hill Town will move up to the Ryman League Premier next season after winning Division One South by an impressive distance in 2014/15 when they amassed 109 points. Leylands Park is their home ground.

Northampton will also play Brackley Town in the Maunsell Cup Final on Saturday 25 July and Sileby Rangers on Sunday 5 July.
