The trust have been in regular contact with Northampton Borough Council and prospective new owner Kelvin Thomas and although much of what has been discussed over the past week cannot be publicised it is clear the situation remains very serious for the future of the club.
They have outlined three potential outcomes of the current situation which include the formation of a 'Phoenix Club' in the worst possible case.

Tributes have been paid, meanwhile, by Northampton Town FC and many others to Brian Lomax, the man who was instrumental in setting up the Supporters Trust in 1992, the first of its kind in the country.
