Osman has high hopes for Cobblers

Osman scored his first goal since last March at Vale Park as Ian Sampson's side moved to within three points of the play-off zone.

He said: "We think we have a good team for this level and we have shown that recently but now we need to push on.

"It was difficult in the second half because Port Vale really came at us but we concentrated and kept communicating and we saw it out which is what you need to do.

"I am having a good run in the side and hopefully that will continue. I just need to keep doing my job.

"Results went our way and the play-offs is possible but we need to keep winning."
