He said: "We knocked the ball around well in the first half and created several chances and we should have got our noses in front, so it's definitely two points dropped.

"I can't understand why Adebayo Akinfenwa's header was ruled out. I didn't see anything wrong with it.

"He's a physical player, but he had plenty of free-kicks given against him but not one for him.

"It was good to keep a clean sheet and even though we had to defend some set pieces late on I still feel it was two points dropped."

2009 starts with a trip to Brighton this Saturday.
