A never-ending saga of off-field problems have failed to distract the Owls on the pitch and Alan Irvine's side are handily placed in the league after their midweek win over Walsall.
Ahead of Northampton's visit to Hillsborough this weekend, defender Mark Beevers told the club's official website: "I think you should welcome all games that come at you and everyone enjoys playing in the FA Cup.
"Confidence is high in the camp. We're starting to push forward and we're gelling well at the back and keeping clean sheets.
"If we carry on doing that, we should push on for what we are all aiming for and that is promotion from League One."
