The 30-year-old has scored 11 goals in 25 games during the current campaign but a knee injury means he will miss the games against Accrington Stanley and Port Vale as the Bees look to overhaul Northampton at the bottom of League Two.

The teams stayed as you were after Easter Monday draws, the Cobblers failing to beat bottom club Stockport and Barnet drawing with Oxford.

Caretaker manager Giuliano Grazioli said: "I can't ask for more than what I saw from the boys - they all put a shift in. We didn't create too many chances but I thought we worked hard and thoroughly deserved the draw, if not the three points.

"It feels like we lost the game because we were winning and results were going our way so I think that is why we feel a bit down - but you've got to take the positives out of the game.

"If someone had said you will get four points over the weekend, I would have ripped their hands off. Gillingham was a tough place to go and the weather has been really hot over the weekend."
