The striker came in from the cold to net the winner in Tuesday night's JPT tie against MK Dons but with fierce competition for forward places at Sixfields will look to get regular games with the Blue Square Premier title favourites.

Robinson's parting shot was to take the Cobblers into the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy where they have been drawn at home to Aidy Boothroyd's former club Colchester United.

The tie will take place in the week commencing 8th October.
