Forward Colin Larkin returned from a hamstring injury for the 3-0 win over Yeovil on Saturday but lasted just 44 minutes before tearing a thigh muscle.

He will be out for a couple of weeks so Ryan Gilligan is expected to take his place on the right.

On-loan Wolves defender Mark Little picked up a knee injury in the win and has been sent back to Molineux for a scan so Jason Crowe will move back to right-back after a successful stint in the middle.

That will allow captain Chris Doig to finally win his place back at the heart of the defence and he will make his first league start in a month.

Left-back Liam Davis missed the weekend win after picking up a stress fracture of his ankle in training on Friday and will be out for at least a month.

Swindon have doubts over Peter Brezovan and Lee Peacock.

Goalkeeper Brezovan injured his ankle during Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Southend and experienced some discomfort while training on Monday. Phil Smith will step in if necessary.

Midfielder Peacock may miss the game due to a tight hamstring, while it also emerged he dislocated a finger during the clash at Roots Hall before having it put back into place and returning to action.

Striker Billy Paynter has been passed fit despite coming off just after the hour mark at the weekend.

Michael Pook may continue in midfield after replacing vice-captain Craig Easton, while Hasney Aljofree is also expected to keep his place at the back after returning from illness.

Midfielders Jon-Paul McGovern and Kasali Casal will also be hoping to remain in the starting XI but left-back Jamie Vincent remains out until November having undergone knee surgery.
