Out of the last 3 sides the Cobblers will have to face, Wycombe have the most to play for. A slim chance of reaching the playoffs is all the Chairboys can wish for but will be highly unlikely they will achieve their goal and a top 10 finish will be the best they can ask for.

With Wigan looking like finishing in mid-table, safe from relegation and highly unlikely to mass enough points to reach the playoff positions, their season seems to be at an end already. The JJB is always a tough place to go and take points from however and the Cobblers might have to try and grind out another draw like at Reading.

Cambridge will worry Cobblers fans most because a team that has nothing left to play for usually try out fringe players fired up for the occasion. The U's proved they can cause a shock in hammering Chesterfield 4-1. Hopefully Northampton wont become the first away scalp of the season.
