The Magic of the Cup Remains - Updated

After 133 years as the most famous knock out competition in the world, the FA Cup draw today in London kept up it's tradition of potential giant killing ties when the Cobblers were drawn away to Bishops Stortford. They play in the Skrill Conference South which is two steps down from the Football League.

Bishops Stortford are currently third in their league having won 7 of their 11 games so far and gained an excellent win in the 4th Qualifying Round when winning at Forest Green Rovers of the Skill Premier.

Considering Northampton's current struggling form at the wrong end of League 2 this cup tie has the making of a classic tie and maybe a game that could be considered for TV.

The game will take place over the weekend of November 9 and 10.

***Update*** The game has been scheduled for Sunday 10 November at 2pm and will be shown live on ITV.
