Cheltenham 1-1 The Cobblers

A point is better than none, but we should have had all three! How the officials failed to notice Ian Sampson's shot hit the roof of the net. The Cobblers players and fans saw it! The Cheltenham players reacted as if they'd conceded a goal and even the home fans the other side of the segregation in the seats admitted it was a goal. This is totally unacceptable, if this incident happened at Old Trafford, Highbury of another Premiership ground, it would have been played over and over again on TV and splashed all over the national media. The biggest question has to be what exactly were the ref and linesman looking at? Certainly wasn't the ball!

Credit to the players, they fought back and scored another goal minutes later and should have claimed all three. Harsley with a good finish 15 minutes from time.

Stamp needs a rocket up his backside, at this stage of the season we need battlers and he was far too lazy. The rest of the team fought well. Not impressed with Dudfield so far, but its early days. The last 20 minutes Cobblers were excellent, we need that momentum on Tuesday night against Notts County.
