Wycombe and Northampton drew 1-1 at Adams Park after floodlight failure brought a halt to the game after 38 minutes.

Before the break the Cobblers had had the better of the events, but the Chairboys came on strong after the restart and took the lead three minutes after half time.

An excellent free-kick by Darren Currie left Lee Harper helpless after Chris Hargreaves had chopped down Michael Simpson.

But from then on Wanderers took over the action and created a number of good chances from a lot of possession.

However, the longer it went the more likely it was the Cobblers would get back into the game and they did just that when Mark Rogers' header dropped nicely for the oncoming Jamie Forrester to beat Martin Taylor in the home goal 21 minutes from time
