Cobblers out of contract defender on his way to Oxford.

After two seasons with the Cobblers, Chris Willmott has joined league two rivals Oxford to provide him with a new challenge. The central defender rejected the offer of a new contract with the club as long ago as November and confirmed he would become an Oxford player when his existing contract runs out.

In the absence of Ashley Westwood, Chris stood in as the Cobblers skipper this season.
